Swim lessons

Samantha has 8 teeth and is walking everywhere. She seems to enjoy cruising around the house, carrying her lovey or sippy cup. This gal's a climber. Anything she can get a foothold on, she's up. She thinks it's hilarious to look at you upside down from between her legs. Likes to make funny faces and noises. Quite a good eater. She likes to roll around on the couch or bed, falling back into the pillows and soft mattress. Her babbles sound like cotton candy to me. I spend a lot of time trying to memorize her soft skin, her antics, the weight of her small body in my arms, the feel of her silky hair against my cheek.

Addison is a sweet, sensitive and cautious soul. She loves her friends. We play one long game of pretend that extends from day to day. She wakes in the morning calling us by our assigned character's names. She hates to have her hair brushed. I am amazed at what she remembers, even something mentioned once months ago. She loves to help us cook, wanting to stir or put things in the pot. She still loves to look at her books. Princess dresses must have the appropriate accessories. The color pink rules!

Family Fun Night - pretending to be pizza, rolling each other out with an old gift wrap tube, putting on toppings, into the oven then slice and eat! Samantha Pizza didn't stay very still, though....

Samantha took her first steps last night! A few wobbly steps that ended in a tumble if mom or dad was not there to catch her, but look out world, here she comes!
I was very excited but then a little sad.... My baby growing up too fast!
