I went to the Texas State Aquarium with my cousins, Elaina & Elliot recently. I like fish.

So remember Addie wouldn't wear either of her halloween costumes? Well she got into a box of old clothes, found them and was very interested this time around. So, here are some pictures. Better late than never!

Steve showed Addie how to do somersaults and she's been trying to do them on her own this evening. They turn out more like side rolls. Either way, they are so funny and have kept her busy entertaining us for a while this evening.

I bought a big container of blackberries at Costco today and I think Addie ate her weight in blackberries. Purple teeth and fingers and clothes all around.

Christmas update

Wow, yesterday was so much fun! Christmas is great. When I came downstairs, there was a huge wagon under the tree. I climbed right in and ate some breakfast in there.

It took us a nice long time to open the presents because I would peel a bit of paper off and then give it to mom to put in the trash pile. Then I had to play with the toys before moving on to another present.

I also got a bunch of books, which is great because I LOVE to look at books. Grandpa got me a sand table and it was nice enough outside to put it to use that afternoon.

Addie likes to give eskimo kisses. She'll wrinkle up her nose and offer to rub noses all around. Even to the dogs, her baby dolls and pictures in books.

So when we woke up the other morning, Addie had already been awake in her crib for apparently some while. She had taken off her wearable sleep blanket, jammies AND her diaper. She was very proud of herself.

Halloween

Addie did not like either costume that we bought for her. By 'not like', we mean run from the room upon sighting of either the awesome shark costume or cute pink bug costume. Guess you will have to use your imagination. In lieu of costume, she opted to wear her favorite hat.

We had a nice time going to a few houses and meeting some neighbors. Mom and Dad promptly confiscated all her candy upon return home. Hey, the longer she doesn't know what goodness lies inside those wrappers, the better.

Addie's been doing this hilarious laugh lately. It is a cross between a shriek and a fake laugh. Kind of sounds like a dolphin. She gets going when she's REALLY excited, usually because of the dogs. Sounds of unabashed joy fill the house.

We went to the beach in Corpus this weekend. Wow, what fun! I ran so much....ran in the sand, ran in the water, ran after the birds, ran into the waves, ran after the dogs. Whew.
