These puppies love me! Especially when I have snackies.

They are soft. I will give them kisses between hard pats on the head. Sometimes they knock me down, though.

Mommy got me this great slide. It's right in the middle of the living room. I can crawl up, crawl down, slide down and play in the little clubhouse. I am a great slider! I laugh when I go fast.

Well, I finally decided that this whole walking thing was worth my time. On 4th of July weekend, with an assist from Grandpa Murray, I was crawling in the morning and cruising around the house by afternoon. Check me out, so proud of myself!

Concan 2008

We just got back from Concan at the Frio River. This was my second year, though I don't really remember last year 'cause I was so little. We did so much stuff....hiking, tons of swimming, learned about birdies, collected rocks, spent time with family.

Birthday cake is yummy! The whole cake was a bit intimidating, but it didn't take long for me to dive into a piece. Notice how it is squished between my fingers in my little fist.

I got extra hugs and snuggles today and mom kept telling me how lucky she is. Hmmm, wonder why?

Mom's note

One year ago I fell in love with a little bundle of joy. It is hard to believe that my precious little baby is now a big girl toddler. Everyday, even the hard days (or nights), I feel so blessed to be able to smell the sweet soft smell of her neck and feel her hair tickle my nose. Her giggles are like bubbles of sunshine. Holding her in my arms, I know how much I was loved by my mom and that feels really good.

A day at the beach

We had a great day at the beach recently. I tried to get those birds. There were way too fast for me. Crawled around in the sand. Mom wouldn't let me eat the sand, though.

I love to play with my books. Also, I'm quite the executive assistant... I can help mom file, or unfile, I should say....
