I can have cake?

Birthday cake is yummy! The whole cake was a bit intimidating, but it didn't take long for me to dive into a piece. Notice how it is squished between my fingers in my little fist.

I got extra hugs and snuggles today and mom kept telling me how lucky she is. Hmmm, wonder why?

Mom's note

One year ago I fell in love with a little bundle of joy. It is hard to believe that my precious little baby is now a big girl toddler. Everyday, even the hard days (or nights), I feel so blessed to be able to smell the sweet soft smell of her neck and feel her hair tickle my nose. Her giggles are like bubbles of sunshine. Holding her in my arms, I know how much I was loved by my mom and that feels really good.

Had a great playdate recently with my birth class buddies. Played in a pool for the first time. Loved it, it's like a bath only better!

A day at the beach

We had a great day at the beach recently. I tried to get those birds. There were way too fast for me. Crawled around in the sand. Mom wouldn't let me eat the sand, though.

I love to play with my books. Also, I'm quite the executive assistant... I can help mom file, or unfile, I should say....

Love bath time!

I love bath time. So much fun to splash the water and chew on my duckie. It helps me get relaxed for bedtime.

Family

I got to meet two cousins over the holidays, Max and James. James was pretty quiet and I got to show him some big kid stuff. Max has some neat toys and reallyt liked our dog Kirra.

My first Chrsitmas

My first Christmas was great. All that paper and ribbon...Awesome! Oh, and I also got a rubber duckie, a cool chair and blanket and soft blocks.

Silly baby

overdue update

Well, I've been so busy, I haven't had time to update. Seems like one day I can't get over the step and the next I'm pulling myself up on everything. LOVE stand! Such freedom! I can crawl, but I much prefer to scoot around on my belly.
